About the job you're considering
As a PMO Manager, you will be at the heart of our programme office, leading and directing the PMO function to achieve goals and client satisfaction. You will have a track record of creating, implementing, rescuing or operating PMOs in large portfolio environments. You will ensure that programmes are appropriately run, and you’ll have a great view across the entire client landscape. You’ll be flexible, adapting to the day-to-day changes which occur on every significant programme, nimble in the way you work and operating at the heart of delivery.

It will offer solutions based on vertical packages.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
You’ll support the smooth running of the end-to-end programme through working flexibly across the following areas:
Your skills and experience
• Extensive background in delivery in PMO roles within an IT and Business Change environment. A background in consultancy or professional services delivery would be advantageous though not essential.
• In depth understanding of the impact PMO has on good project and programme management and aligning the priorities and mandate of the Programme Office to the strategic goals and objectives of the organisation and the clients’ delivery needs, providing direction and implementing all required processes
• The ability to provide input on project / programme support matters, offering direction and clear guidance on PMO technical matters
• Complete knowledge and understanding of project and programme lifecycles
• Complete flexibility regarding location of work, and willing to work away from home when required to be located at our clients’ sites
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
