HGV Class 1 Drivers Needed - Wigan

Are you a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity?

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work at a leading logistics company based in Wigan. We offer competitive pay rates and a fixed rota, with guaranteed shifts or permanent roles if wanted.

Role Overview:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries to stores across the Northwest.

Hours & Shift Patterns

  • 6 week shift rota which will include 3 weekends
  • Start Times between 0700- 1200
  • Paid Breaks

Pay:

  • Monday - Thursday £15.15 - £19.45p/h
  • Friday £15.65 - £20p/h
  • Saturday £17.35 - £22.25 / Sunday £18.00 - £23.50p/h
  • Overtime after 48 Hours £20.97 - £27.00
  • PAYE and Umbrella

Duties:

  • Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with Box or Double Deck Trailers
  • Making deliveries to Stores across the Northwest
  • Normally between 1 - 3 drops per shift depending on the location.
  • Will include unloading at the store
  • Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your driving hours

Skills & Experience:

  • HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
  • At least 6 Months HGV Class 1 driving experience
  • No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
  • Experience with Double Deck Trailers would be an advantage but not essential
