📍 Location: Unit A, Telford Way, Wakefield 41 Industrial Estate, Wakefield, WF2 0XW
📅 Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday
🕒 Hours: Monday - Wednesday 13:30pm - 00:00am / Thursday 13:00pm - 22:00pm
💰 Salary: £12.21 per hour
What you’ll be doing:
- Efficiently pick and pack magazines and newspapers with precision
- Accurately scan and catalogue magazines to ensure proper inventory management
- Perform thorough quality checks on packed orders to maintain high standards
- Proactively locate over-stocked items, ensuring swift and accurate order compilation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment to enhance productivity
- Strictly adhere to company procedures and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Unload, load, sort, and scan incoming deliveries, ensuring timely processing and inventory accuracy
What we need from you:
- Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Proficient in computer systems and software relevant to warehouse operations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- A Forklift Truck (FLT) license is advantageous, though not required.
