All our people supported need gentle caring bubbly support workers who have caring natures.
We enjoy fun days in the summer, BBQS, we also love a good water fight to.
One gent loves walks in community so support workers who enjoy to walk around is great.
We also like drives so preferably a driving licence is great for the service to.
It is our am to ensure anyone with a profound physical or learning disability can live their best possible lives with dignity, independence, and choice.
Our people supported days out at the coast, sealife centres, holidays in uk and abroadAt Summerson House, we have an experienced local team which is led by Service Leader, Sarah Lowery. Sarah has worked with adults with support needs for over a decade. She started her career as a Support Worker, so has first-hand experience of how best to support people to achieve their goals. She is supported by a team of 20 dedicated colleagues who are all passionate about delivering excellent person-centred care. All colleagues undertake a structured induction programme, as well as specialist training, to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to safely support your loved one. We have our own in-house Training Team and work with local professionals and expert training providers Your values: We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience.
