We are currently recruiting Brick Cutting Operative to join our friendly team at our Linford Block Plant, which is located close to Stanford-le-Hope in Essex this will be working 7am - 4pm The site is easily accessible from Tilbury, Gravesend, Rochester, Gillingham, Dartford, Purfleet on Thames, Grays, Wickford, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay and the surrounding areas. Our Linford Plant manufactures sustainable, tough and energy efficient aerated blocks that we see all around us, whether this be in our homes or our work environments, you are never too far away from one of our products. Main Responsibilities In the role of Brick Cutting Operative, you will be responsible for: Meeting daily production target requirements Reporting of data for quality purposes Moving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehicles Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround Continuous Improvement of performance standards Continuous improvement towards plant and production methods Good housekeeping The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within an industrial or similar environment as a Fork Lift Truck Operative, Multi-Skilled Operative or Labourer.
