The Materials Driver assists the Hub Manager in their responsibility for the day to day operation of the service, distributing goods by vehicle in a safe and timely basis operating from one of the 5 central receipt points serving NHS Lothian. The post holder carries out correct and safe goods distribution of goods in line with best practice and to meet end user requirements in line with NHS Lothians policy. There is a strong element of manual handling and driving within this role.
