Job Purpose : Assist electricians in the electrical department. Key Responsibilities: Assist electricians in the electrical department with cable preparation. These duties will include wrapping cables, checking and cleaning of cables and ensuring these are available and suitable to be used accordingly. General cleaning and maintenance of the electricians area within the workshop. Provide general assistance in the Electrical Bay, including loading and off-loading equipment. Depending on ability, can operate in other areas of the department e.g. Panel testing, cable making and repairing. Where required accompany and assist electricians with onsite installations. Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles. Comply with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2015 procedures, proactively contributing to the company s continuous improvement program. Skills and Experience Must be a good team worker and be able to work alone when required. Must be able to work on your own initiative and carry out duties given as own responsibilities.
