WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE / BENDI FLT DRIVER – NIGHT SHIFT

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 9.00PM - 6.00AM

PAY RATE: £14.50 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

Working as a Warehouse Operative / Bendi FLT Driver your duties will include:

  • Driving/Operating a Bendi FLT safely and efficiently
  • Conducting inspections of the FLT and reporting any faults to management
  • Receiving goods into the warehouse
  • Stowing pallets
  • Picking and packaging of customer orders
  • Ensuring all items loaded/unloaded match relevant paperwork
  • Reporting any damaged/missing items to warehouse managers/supervisors
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy and maintaining warehouse equipment
  • Assisting with inventory control
  • Moving goods around the warehouse as and when required
  • General warehouse and labourer duties
  • Adhering to health and safety at all times

Essential Skills

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • A valid Bendi FLT licence that is RTITB or ITSSAR accredited
  • Experience operating a Bendi FLT
  • Physically fit as this is a physical role involving heavy lifting
  • Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Good spatial awareness and attention to detail
  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
  • Team player

Desirable Experience

  • Previous picking and packing experience
  • Previous warehouse experience

Training

  • Industry related training and ongoing support
