I Like my staff team to be Mature (older) reliable, motivated, and flexible and understand my needs and how to provide the best support to achieve the best outcome. I was diagnosed with brain disturbance rather than epilepsy, I live with learning disabilities, anxiety, depression and have challenging behaviours. I may at times self harm and require support around my needs but at the same time like to be as independent as possible and like to be reminded I can do certain tasks myself.

I like to go out into the community, I have my own Mobility car to enable staff to drive to me to go out into the community this maybe to attend an appointment or collect food/ shopping, even just a day out! I would also need the use of my wheelchair; staff would be required to check my Wheelchair to ensure there were no faults.

I like to go out on day trips, Seaside, Fish and chips, Walking (Wheelchair), Parks and other activities.

I like to sit and complete Jigsaw’s, I love to watch the old Soaps and relax.

My sisters and brothers are a big part of my life and very much involved, my Sister Joan looks after my Finances and visit me regularly even take me out.

Mine and my families aspirations are for me to live the best life possible in the best way I can.

I like people I can communicate with, as at times I find it hard to understand due to my disabilities, this can cause anxiety and misunderstandings

1- staff on shift daily changeover is 11am each day.

Our shifts at Apethorpe Close are 11am start till 11pm and 11pm till 7am sleep-in 7am till 11am finish.
