Title : Area Sales Manager Hard Asset Vendor Finance Salary : £45k £60k basic plus commission car allowance and exceptional benefits Location : Midlands/North Our client is an innovative fast-growing lender has an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join their sales team to help carve out a market-leading position in the Asset Finance Industry. Successful applicants will be responsible for developing relationships with vendors and dealers as well as finding business for our hard asset team. You will need to be self-motivated individuals who will be expected to exceed an annual sales target, and build relationships with dealers, customers, and other key industry contacts. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate: Presenting products to clients This is a customer-facing role so you will spend most of your time in the field seeing customers with the option to work from home where appropriate. Develop new business relationships and manage existing client portfolios. Compile credit write-ups, access a proposal s risk to the business, and negotiate approvals with underwriters. Manage your diary, generate appointments, and attend trade shows and networking events. Work with the sales support team to complete documentation and ensure it is completed to the required standard. Develop sector knowledge so you can talk knowledgeably to customers and suppliers. Meet all FCA and regulatory requirements. Skills : Knowledge of the SME market Confidence in your own sales ability Communication skills and customer focus Ability to identify and analyse new business opportunities. Time management and organisation skills Computer literacy Persistence and a commitment to exceeding targets. Full UK driver s licence Experience 2+ years experience in Asset Finance sales Knowledge Good working knowledge of Risk Assessments and understanding of accounts, training will be provided. An understanding of Construction, Manufacturing or materials handling sectors, training will be provided.
