Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across various subjects and age groups
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and exams
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Prior experience in teaching or working with children is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
- Effective classroom management skills
- Computer literacy for lesson planning and student assessment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience in working as a supply teacher in a similar setting
Working Conditions:
The role may require flexibility in terms of travel to different schools within the region. Working hours are typically during school hours, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
