As a controller you will be responsible for the allocation, co-ordination and ongoing monitoring of all work assigned to your circuit. You will liaise with various members of both your own team and across other departments to ensure service excellence, taking a pro-active and professional approach to all communications. You will use your geographical and technical knowledge to plan the work allowing maximum use of resources and providing a superior service to our customers and clients. You will work in accordance to company guidelines and you will positively contribute to the operation of the control room.
The main responsibilities within the Controller role are :
Allocates work efficiently and in a timely manner, ensuring you are making the best use of all available resources. Remaining mindful of the customer’s needs and deadlines at all times.
Continually monitors the status of live work, making changes where necessary to ensure a superior service from start to finish.
Assists the Control room manager with the day to day running of the department.
Manages the workload in accordance with the individual SLA’s for each circuit where possible, and communicating any changes as soon as possible .
To manage the fleet in a way which encourages consistency and retention.
Liaise with the Customer Care Co-Ordinators in a timely manner providing accurate real time information and any necessary updates thereafter.
To contribute positively to the control room dynamic, communicating effectively and professionally with all strands of the business.
Ensure you take reasonable care of your own health and safety and of others who may be affected by your actions.
Ensure customer and personal information is collected and processed in line with the company General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) policy and procedures.
The key skills we need you to have for the role include :
Experience working in a fast-paced contact centre environment .
Experience working as a controller or in a London based control room.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Confident phone manner.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
MS Office - including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Flexible, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Conditional job offers are subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
