We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reading Support Assistant to join our team at a thriving secondary mainstream school in Hounslow. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about education and eager to support students aged 11-16 in developing their reading skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support, working with students individually, in small groups, or supporting the entire class.
- Assist students with literacy difficulties, including those with dyslexia.
- Implement structured, engaging teaching activities to motivate and enhance students' learning.
- Ensure all pupils have equal access to learning opportunities and promote the inclusion of students with specific needs.
- Employ effective behaviour management strategies to foster a productive learning environment.
- Encourage cooperative interaction among pupils and support their overall development.

- A graduate with high levels of literacy and reading proficiency.
- Passionate about education and making a positive impact on students' lives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
