Grounds Maintenance Operative – Uxbridge

Salary: From £27,000 per annum (40 hours per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated individual to carry out grounds maintenance across multiple sites. You will play a key role in keeping outdoor areas well-maintained and presentable , ensuring all services meet high standards and customer expectations.

Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of management and maintenance services for parks and green spaces . As a fast-growing company, they are now expanding their team and looking to hire a Grounds Maintenance Operative .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weeding, cleaning, lawn mowing, strimming, hedge cutting
  • Carrying out general grounds maintenance tasks
  • Ensuring high health & safety standards
  • Using the appropriate power and hand tools where required

    • Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to self-motivate and work well within a team
  • Experience using power tools and horticultural equipment (e.g., strimmers, hedge trimmers, push mowers)
  • Previous grounds maintenance experience (preferred)
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
  • Ability to meet and exceed business objectives
  • Experience implementing quality standards and working to customer specifications
