Description: Berry Recruitment are looking for a Streetcare operative/driver to work as part of their Streetcare team based out of our Fengate Depot. Working hours are 37 - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.00am 5pm, with an immediate start this role can start at 6am pleasebe flexible What does this role involve? Working alone to set routes and rounds and watering up to 30 trees per day at various locations across the city, to include parks and open spaces, highway areas and residential areas Taking ownership on the newly planted trees to ensure they establish during their early years Safely operating a 3.5T caged tipper vehicle with a towed water bowser to travel across the city from site to site; accessing through and via built-up urban areas inc parks and open spaces Ensuring daily work schedules are followed, and to a consistent high standard. Completing appropriate safety checks on all vehicles and equipment, and reporting defects as required. Liaising with members of the public, other team members, managers and clients in a professional and courteous manner. Assisting with other areas of the Streetcare service as required.
