Class 2 Driver Are you an HGV driver looking for shorter days, no nights out and normal, sociable hours ? We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver to work for a national client, who are currently recruiting for 2 full time permanent drivers to join their established team. This position is fulltime, Mon to Fri, Days. Driving a Class 2 drop side, carrying timber. Average shift length 10hours per day. Hours: Monday to Friday usually around 07:00 17:00 Days, No Nights Out Average shift 10 hrs This role is a fulltime, permanent role. Pay and benefits: £12.50 £14.01 (PAYE / PAYE Advanced) Overtime Paid after 8hrs at £16.81 Weekly pay Holiday pay and pension enrolment Joining Driver Hire s team of professional drivers, where you may discover other work opportunities with more clients, offering variety to your working week and opportunities to top-up your earnings. As a qualified HGV driver, you will have: Full UK Class 1 (Cat C) driving licence with current CPC and Digital Tacho card No more than 9 points on licence, and no CD, IN, DD or DR endorsement codes Previous experience of Class 2 driving preferred but not essential Ability to load and unload goods, ensuring secure and safe transport Excellent time management and communication skills A commitment to safety and customer satisfaction Excellent knowledge of Driving Hours and WTR Previous experience and having held your Class 2 for a minimum of 1 year is preferred, but not essential.
