HGV Class 1 Driver Cullompton, Devon Chilled Multidrop £15.00 £17.75 per hour 04:00 or 06:00 start 10 / 12 hour shifts 24-7 Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver for a client that we are representing in the Cullompton, Devon area on an ongoing basis, potentially temp to perm, for the right candidate. We are looking for experienced and reliable drivers, who are available for assessment and induction immediately. This role will involve you delivering chilled goods. Responsibilities for a HGV Class 1 Driver: Safely operate an HGV Class 1 delivery vehicle Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries. Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately Provide excellent customer service. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. as a HGV Class 1 Driver we will require the below skills: Valid drivers license with appropriate category for operating a Class 1 vehicle. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience driving an HGV vehicle. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to locate delivery addresses. Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.
