Domiciliary Care Worker Hours: 39 per week Job Types: Full and Part time Hours: 7am till 11pm Location: Stockport, SK4 Salary: £12.10 - £13.50 per hour Time Recruitment is partnering with a reputable Home Care provider committed to delivering high-quality care that promotes independence, dignity, and happiness for all service users. They understand that achieving this begins with recruiting the right team members. The domiciliary carer will follow the guidance of the Registered Manager and adhere to individual care plans. The manager is flexible regarding travel for candidates from slightly farther afield and will consolidate visits into a single morning or afternoon to streamline the schedule. Visits will last between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours, depending on the service user, within the Stockport area. Travel is required. Key Responsibilities: Assist with personal care tasks, including skincare, bathing, shaving, oral hygiene, toileting (including bladder and bowel management), dressing, and hair care. Support mobility needs, including moving and handling transfers, pushing wheelchairs, and checking specialist equipment. Aid with dietetics, including menu planning, food preparation, serving, and storage. Help clients with daily living activities such as work, leisure, and education. Administer medications as prescribed by the medical team. Manage correspondence and financial matters as needed. Perform day-to-day household tasks like changing beds, laundry, ironing, and shopping. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times. Report and record information according to company procedures. Commit to ongoing personal development within Active Assistance. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
