Class 2 ADR Driver

An excellent opportunity has arised for Class 2 ADR drivers to work for a well established company delivering gas cylinders around the UK. For this role you will be required to deliver to residential and business properties. This work will begin in September; however we have plenty of work to keep you occupied until then. About this Class 2 ADR Driving position: 42.5 hours per week with possible overtime Monday to Sunday (rota in place) 4 on 2 off shift pattern Early and late shifts Delivering Class 2 & 3 goods to residential areas, depots, and business areas Start times vary on a day-to-day basis Training and assessments provided by client What we expect from you as a HGV Driver: Class 2 driving licence Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card In date ADR qualification for Class 2 and 3 gases Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts as well as weekends High level of safety awareness Experience on Class 2 vehicle preferred Own transport to commute to and from work is essential No DD or DR convictions Some manual handling involved Ensure all tachograph records are maintained correctly Ensure highest level of customer service Benefits for Class 2 ADR Drivers: Onsite parking Training and full uniform provided Guaranteed pay of 8.5 hours per day Weekly pay Overtime pay after 42.5 hours (Mon-Fri) Overtime rate paid at weekend Potential of going into a permanent position PAYE Competitive salary 24/7 on call phone Dedicated in house team always willing to help Driver Hire Southampton is an agency which provides staff cover to a range of companies within the Southampton and Winchester area.
