Senior Press Service Engineer. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Press Service Engineer to work with our Dudley based client. They are an expanding company with a rich heritage of providing presses to a wide range of customers in the UK and overseas. The successful candidate will have experience of carrying out servicing and repairs on Mechanical & Hydraulic presses throughout the UK. (Some overseas travel will also be required) combined with Installation & commissioning of new machines. Key Skills: BTEC/C&G in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Ability to use measuring equipment accurately & basic hand tools. Health & Safety training, including ability to produce risk assessments & method statements (RAMS) Ability to read engineering & hydraulic drawings. Basic electrical fault finding would be an advantage. Ability to work under instruction within a team, & to work on own initiative to meet deadlines. Forklift Operator's Certificate/ IPAF would be an advantage, although training can be given. Mechanical and hydraulic repair and maintenance experience. Personal skills: Reliable and self-motivated. Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn as full product training will be given. Flexibility. Good communication skills. Clean driving licence. Current UK passport. The ideal candidate will live in close locale to our client's site as you will be required to travel to collect van, equipment, and other personnel from Headquarters. Any overnight stays will be organised by the client and all expenses will be paid for in advance. Hotels, food etc. Salary: C£35k - £40k p/a dependant on experience.
