Job Description Job Description Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Support Worker to work at one of our Independent Hospitals in Newark-On-Trent. Shifts: Monday to Sunday no sponsorship available Service Information This hospital is a purpose-built hospital which provides services across low secure, rehabilitation and acute inpatient settings for women with mental health and personality disorder diagnoses. At this hospital, there combination of low secure wards and a rehabilitation ward area provide a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation prior to discharge. There on-site facilities include large and attractive en-suite bedrooms, disabled facilities, secure courtyard and garden, patient caf , gym, salon, and activity hall. As a support worker, you are someone who looks after the well-being of people in their daily lives. You will help patients living with different physical disabilities and mental health needs to live their lives more independently and support them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support. Person Specification The successful applicant must have: GCSEs are preferred, particularly in certain subjects such as Maths, English, or Health and Social care. Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within Acute Mental Health Fantastic communication and Interpersonal skills Emotional maturity, compassion and empathy Willing to work with people with potential challenging behaviour Understanding of people with mental health issues Ability to work flexibly and commit to working hours mentioned above. It would be beneficial if the applicant is a driver due to the location and shift start times but there is local/public transport nearby.
