Class 1 Driver Temporary £14.50 per hour Motherwell and Cumbernauld Start date: Immediate We are looking for a HGV 1 driver to start immediately for our client based in Motherwell who are looking for a driver on a temporary basis with the opportunities for ongoing work. We also have similar opportunities for work in Cumbernauld. Duties include but not limited to; Start times can vary between 0800, 1000 & 1200 Morning vehicle checks Trunks to Aberdeen & Inverness Trailer changeovers Curtainsider vehicle & use of straps Double man runs Items forklifted off at destinations End of day vehicle checks You must have; A Class 1 C+E licence A valid CPC A digital tachograph card No more than 6 points on your licence Previous class 1 driving experience, preferably in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential. Rate of pay; Monday to Friday: £14.50 ph PAYE or £16.25 ph PAYE advanced Overtime or nights: £19.33 for overtime or working nights 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE 8hr minimum guaranteed per day
