The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Castleford area. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver (CAT C+E) to join the team on days. Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am start times. Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate. The role: Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport empty pallets to and from designated locations. Secure loads using ratchet straps to ensure safe transportation. Collaborate with onsite personnel for pallet loading and unloading activities. Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). Have at least 2 years of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be accustomed to using a curtainside vehicle. Be proficient with the use of straps. A safety-first mindset.
