For the successful Field Service Engineer, our client is offering: Competitive salary of up to £37,000 per annum based on experience. 40 hours per week + OT (Monday to Friday) 8AM to 4:30pm Permanent days 25 days holiday + bank holidays Regular Overtime @ 1.5 hourly rate On call 1 in every 4 weeks - £125 payment for being on call If called out then this will be paid at time and a half Company Van Company Laptop and phone Company power tools Pension scheme Ongoing training and future development Death in service Company Pension Heath Care scheme The Role Field Service Engineer: Currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer who will be based from home and covering but not limited to the North Wales, however, there may be a demand for the ideal candidate to work in surrounding areas such as Cheshire/North West/Shropshire To maintain, service, repair and test a range of load-handling equipment, including truck-mounted cranes, demountable s, skip loaders and truck-mounted forklifts. What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer: Will have demonstrable technical experience with a similar, mobile service role. Possess the necessary experience of working with relevant mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Having existing knowledge of some of the following plants would be beneficial: i.e loader cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, forestry cranes, and demountable and skip loaders. Will need to be flexible about travel, tasks performed, and working hours. Should be comfortable working independently and be an effective problem solver. Will possess excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
