We pride ourselves on our teamwork and supporting each other as well as our customers. We are currently recruiting for both Trainee and Experienced Bus Drivers for our Birkenhead depot. Don t worry if you ve never driven a bus before we will provide you with all the training you need, and you ll earn as you learn! The hourly rate whilst in training will be £14.00 which increases to £17 .00 after 12 months(Effective 01/05/2024). For experienced Bus or PCV Drivers we offer a stating hourly rate of £17.00( effective 01/05/2024 ) . We re offering full time opportunities with potential of taking on overtime if you wish to take an additional hours. You will also be supplied with a uniform, training and development we have opportunities to develop your experience and your career across the business. All successful candidates will attend an induction at a local depot which will give you all the training your need including vehicle familiarisation, route learning, ticket machines, customer care, policies and procedures. If you don t already hold your PCV licence, you will attend our Arriva Training School for full CPC training to get you ready to start in your new role as an Arriva Bus Driver. You ll need to be over 18 with at least 6 months driving experience and no more than 6 points on your licence. The role will be shift-based which will include evenings and weekends.
