The role: An exciting opportunity to join British Airways as a Finance Transformation Process lead has arisen! In this role you will support the end-to-end design process of our Finance Process strategy, by actively working with partners across British Airways to track process performance and drive continuous improvement. What you ll do: Define and maintain standardised financial processes, continuously assessing to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Establish key performance indicators and metrics to measure process performance and regularly monitor performance to identify areas for improvement. Generate and present reports to senior management and the governance groups, highlighting achievements, challenges and proposed improvements, based on internal monitoring and external benchmarking. Develop and maintain documentation, manuals, and training materials as required. Partner with internal and external partners to effectively manage the project lifecycle to ensure delivery of desired outcome on a timely basis and within approved budget. What you ll bring to British Airways: Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the finance domain. Proficiency in leveraging financial systems and technologies to streamline processes in financial controllership, planning and Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distil complex technical information into clear simple messages. Strong project management skills and comfortable communicating ideas to senior leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and able to use data insights to drive effective decision making. Your experience: Knowledge of financial master data structures and reporting. Experience in designing enterprise data management and reporting solutions is essential. Experience supporting a CFO/CTO function on data transformation is desirable. A qualification in a relevant field, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA would be advantageous. What we offer: We believe that all the people who work with us should feel valued for the part they play.
