LGV and PCV driver trainers required in Yeovil, Taunton, Bridgwater, Exeter area full time, working Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30, Paying £35-£40k per annum, 20 days holiday + bank holidays & pension. An exciting opportunity for a driver trainer to join a long established second generation family business due to continuing expansion, we are looking for suitable candidates to take on training, educating, and updating new drivers and existing licence holders looking to upskill their licence to DVSA LGV test standards. Desirable: Previous experience as a C+E or PCV Cat D trainer or accreditation. Previous experience as a DVSA ADI instructors. Holding both C+E and PCV license, will consider just C+E holders. Any advanced driver qualification. Any health & safety, first aid certificates. A self-starter who is highly organised, with a proactive can-do attitude. Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality. Strong communication skills, demonstrating proven driver development and assessment training. Essential: Full valid C+E Driving Licence No more than 6 points for minor endorsements. No current or previous prosecutions for driving offences. Must have held C+E or PCV licence for more than 3 years. Must have working knowledge of current transport legislation. Complete 3-month probation/training/mentor period on basic pay. Information: Full training will be given to the right candidates. Earning potential of £35-£40k per annum. Initial 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and company pension scheme.
