HGV Class 1 Driver

Logical Personnel Solutions are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in Rotherham. Our client is a general haulage or chilled goods distributor in the UK delivering palletised goods. We are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers on nights who can complete trunk runs which consist of palletised goods to customers across South Yorkshire- Local deliveries, curtain-sider pallets with no manual work. Weekend work is also available should you want to pick up any extra shifts. REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid CPC, Digi Card and Driving Licence. Must provide all own PPE (Safety boots, Hi Vis Vest, work wear) JOB ROLE: Drive a HGV Class 1 Vehicle throughout the shift All deliveries are curtain-sider pallet work, with no loose goods that need offloading manually. Carry out POD s and delivery note procedures. WORKING DAYS AND HOURS: Monday-Friday Start times: 16:00 23:00 On average a 10-12 hours shift . PAYE PAY RATES: Class 1 Nights PAYE: Basic Nights Monday Friday : £15 Saturday £15.30 Sunday £17.50 Long term / permanent positions available
