About The Role Location: Aldershot Salary £37,051.90 per annum / £15.78 per hour Start and finish times: 07.15AM - 17.00PM Working 45 hours per week Must be able to work Bank Holidays Extra £200.00 Supervisor payment per month included in salary Will need to cover weekends when needed, i.e. holidays & sick What will I be doing? Managing and investigating vehicle / personal incidents and any road traffic accidents. Investigating and resolving near miss / hazard reports. Weekly vehicle inspections / gate checks. Responsible for ensuring the downloading of VU and Drivers tacho cards and reviewing infringement reports with Drivers. Responsible for training, as well as delivering toolbox talks. Complete yearly driving and pre-employment driving assessments once trained Debrief drivers post shift daily Occasional cover for Driver sickness / absence as required (LGV licence is therefore essential). Weekend working needed on occasions to cover current full-time employee when he takes holiday. Can be as over time or days of in lieu What are the requirements? It is essential to have an LGV (CAT C) Licence and Driver CPC Card. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Valid First Aid Certificate (training can be provided for the successful candidate). IOSH qualification (training can be provided for the successful candidate).
