Responsibilities Ensuring safety of products carried in transit, while keeping vehicle secure and maintained. Ensure paperwork and delivery routes are correct and followed effectively. Making sure keeping logs of vehicle defects and reporting to the relevant line manager. Always providing exceptional standard of service to customers. Adhering to drivers hours and communicating with managers with any issues. Always wearing correct PPE and maintaining cleanliness at all times in company vehicles. Work experience/Skills Current valid HGV license. Drivers CPC card. Minimum of 1 years experience. An understanding of laws and regulations with drivers hours and tachographs. Ability to work with minimum supervision from management. Good communication and organisational skills are imperative. Willing to tramp Monday- Friday. Expected hours: 60 65 per week Experience: CLASS 1: 2 years (preferred) Curtain sider: 1 year (preferred) HGV Class 2 Tipper: Key Responsibilities: Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle to transport materials to designated sites. Ensure loads are safely and securely transported, adhering to legal load limits. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues. Safely operate tipping mechanisms to unload materials at delivery sites. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of departure and arrival, and any issues encountered. Adhere to all driving regulations, including tachograph and driver s hours rules. Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries. Assist with loading and unloading materials as required. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner. Requirements: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license. Valid MPQC card. Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Digital tachograph card. Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 driver, with specific experience operating tipper trucks preferred. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and legal load limits. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and manoeuvring heavy loads. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. Desirable: ADR certification for transporting hazardous materials.
