HGV Class 1 Night/Afternoon Driver Location: Shildon, DL4 Start Time: 4pm Pay: £16.50 up until 6pm (PAYE ADV PAYE also available) , £18.50 (PAYE ADV- PAYE also available) after 6pm Commutable from Spennymoor Darlington Newton Aycliffe Casual Role We re currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Night/Afternoon Drivers within a commutable distance from Shildon. As an afternoon/night driver, you will be responsible for the appropriate safety checks for your vehicle/load. We are looking for a flexible driver with experience behind the wheel of a class 1 (at least 2 years to be specific). As the company are a well established flooring supplier, a successful candidate will show willingness to help load/unload the occasional delivery. Being a nationwide company, experience with similar deliveries will also be advantageou. Typical start times are 4:00am for this work and operational days are Monday to Friday. While this work is initially a casual role, there is the possibility of block bookings being made for the right driver who shows high levels of reliability and takes pride in their work. Due to insurance purposes, drivers must have at least 2 years experience driving Category C (Class2) Vehicles, be over 25 years of age and must be able to provide previous work references for this work.
