An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to be a Delivery Driver at a localised delivery service for national carriers and blue-chip companies in Basildon. About the role As a Delivery Driver, you will: Log into the smartphone app, load your van and start your sequenced & pre-mapped route delivering parcels and boxes to homes and businesses. Be supported by our dedicated team, who will assist with queries that might arise. About the hours & rewards I n the role of Delivery Driver, you will work in 7-day payment terms, and there is a day rate on offer of £170.00 (not inclusive of incentives) plus: Training can be provided (if you don t have any relevant experience yet) Fuel contributions Seasonal Incentives Performance Incentives Refer a friend Incentive Low rates on van rental (£160.00 per week, not inclusive of VAT) if you don t have your van The flexibility of a Self-Employed Contract About you To be successful in the role of Delivery Driver, you will need a valid UK/EU driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years and with less than 6 points, and you must be/have: Access to or be prepared to rent a van (Standard Size Panel Van) with the correct insurances (Vehicle Insurance, Goods in Transit & Public Liability) Happy for a Criminal Background Check and Drug and Alcohol test to be undertaken Proof of eligibility to work in the UK Own an Android phone to access the workload mobile application Be reliable and customer-focused About the company Our client provides a localised delivery service that supports various national carriers and blue-chip companies with courier contractors to help them deliver high levels of services to their customers.
