We are recruiting for a Drivers Mate/Porter to support our client, a well-known removals company based in Bothwell, to work with a team delivering furniture. This position is commutable from most places, due to motorway links. They re hoping for a Drivers Mate/Porter to start with them immediately, so if you re looking for something new, this might be perfect timing for you! Role details: Monday to Sunday, 5 shifts over 7 days Dayshift, 8am to 4.30pm, guaranteed 40hours per week Temporary to permanent for the right candidate. Duties will be working in a team of 3 porters and 1 driver delivering furniture all over the UK To be considered, you ll be an experienced Drivers Mate/Porter, and have: Valid Category B driving licence as you may be required to drive a van at times and will be trained up to HGV for the right candidates. Removal experience is preffered but not essential 6 points or less on your licence Physically fit due to heavy lifting Immediate start availability Own transport would be preferred due to local and early start times In return: £11.44 per hour (PAYE) Weekly pay 28 days paid holiday pro-rata on PAYE Regular, on-going work offered leading to permanent for the right candidate HGV Training for the right candidates Eligible for our Recommend a Friend scheme, guaranteed 8hr shifts Apply today!
