What you ll be doing: Work alongside the registered manager ensuring the smooth running of the service. You will have and display a good knowledge and understanding of CQC and safeguarding. Support the staff team to maintain a high level of support that s required for the needs of the people we support and for the service. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of support workers. Be part of an on-call system with the registered manager. Attend all training sessions arranged by the registered manager. Support the registered manager with the recruitment process. Have good knowledge and understanding of quality assurance. Cover gaps within the rota, work every other weekend, early shifts, middle shifts, late shifts and sleep in shifts. Who you are: Must have a minimum of NVQ level 3 and be willing to complete Level 5. You will be trustworthy, reliable with the ability to communicate effectively. You will have a positive outlook, recognising and respecting differences and encouraging growth. You will embrace continuous improvement, sharing best practice with an open mind to learning.
