The opportunity: Our Print department is on the hunt for a Print Assistant who embodies dedication and meticulous attention to detail. How you will impact Smurfit-Westrock: Liaise with Board prep/press ops and Cut/Crease Assistant. Check handover notes, daily plan for print/cut, and pile turning/airing material requirements. Move product around Print department to facilitate production. Ensure correct quality and quantity of board is sent to the Print Presses, all waste is accounted for, all tanks and alcohol are filled, waste barrels are emptied, and all materials are stored correctly. Maintain safe working practices on machinery and conformance to factory hygiene and safe housekeeping standards. Assist with Wash up and make readies. Perform any other duties as necessary. Adhere to Health and Safety best practices in line with Company policy and current legislation. What you need to succeed : Hold a Forklift Truck Licence, preferably Reach and Counterbalance (Desirable). Demonstrate experience of working in quality rework / flatwork (Desirable).
