For the successful Field Service Engineer, our client is offering: Competitive salary up to £32,000 D.O.E 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm) Permanent days Overtime opportunities available 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company van provided The Role Field Service Engineer: Change and repair industrial batteries, chargers and associated equipment for load handling equipment such as FLT's. Maintain and repair equipment on Customer Sites Liaise closely with Key Accounts and carry out repairs and services as required. Carry out battery topping, cleaning, and maintenance on customer premises. Attend callouts as and when they come into carry out repairs. Shift covers for sickness & holiday support. Submit all job sheets and reports to head office on a weekly basis. Safely prepare equipment for transportation Build up strong relationships with members of staff and customers. Work closely with the service department to plan and schedule jobs and prioritise urgent callouts. What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer: Strong electrical/mechanical knowledge - ESSENTIAL Experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL Knowledge of forklift batteries and chargers - ESSENTIAL Knowledge of Microsoft packages - ESSENTIAL Full UK driving licence - ESSENTIAL Ability to work unsupervised. Good organisational skills. Excellent team player. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
