Job Overview: Join our team as a Transportation Coordinator where you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising transportation operations. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing supply chain activities, and ensuring efficient transportation processes.
Responsibilities:
Preparation, generation and distribution of shipping documents
Meet and greet drivers on arrival and offer guidance on the driver visiting guidelines, waiting requirement where applicable, weighing and loading and departure processes.
Be point of contact for each driver during their time at Rittal-CSM.
Record time of arrival and departure of each truck
Manage traffic in yard and prioritisation at loading docks.
Ensure correct truck release protocols – documentation, seal checks and weighbridge.
Record all data associated with Transport KPI’s
Investigate all supplementary charges from Hauliers – demurrage, cancellation
Ensures adherence to ISO9001 operating processes
Ensures alignment to Rittal international standards
Requirements:
Experience of warehousing, distribution and/or transport
MS Office proficient
Operational Health and Safety
