Owen Payne Recruitment are seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team!

Our client is looking for somebody who wants to build there career and grow there expertise.

The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating highway products and infrastructures. This role involves operating an overhead crane to maneuver materials and complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Thursday – AM Shift: 05:45 – 14:00 & PM Shift: 14:15 – 22:30
  • Friday – AM Shift: 05:45 – 11:45 & PM Shift: 12:00 – 18:00

    • Rate of Pay:

  • £13.80 per hour plus an additional £11.15 per day on the PM shift

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating Counterbalance Forklift 
  • Loading and unlaoding wagons
  • Unloding coil wagons
  • Feeding production workers with parts
  • Taking finished parts to galvanised department 
  • Operating an overhead crane to lift, move, and position materials as needed
  • Adhering to safety protocols 

    • Qualifications:

  • In-date and accredited Counterbalance Forklift License
  • Experience with operating overhead cranes
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle materials and operate equipment
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment
