# To start ASAP Full Time Experienced Gardener

A knowledgeable, experienced and passionate gardener is required for a private home near to Chipping Norton. The gardener will have sole charge of all gardening duties, within a garden of approx 1 acre. The candidate should be very confident managing an organic vegetable garden, and a cutting garden. It is important the candidate is flexible and a good team player, happy to work independently and take pride in their work.

In addition to general day to day management of the garden (including ordering and planting new plants in line with the clients requirements), other duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Managing and keeping control of vegetable garden - including producing produce for the family kitchen

  • Managing and Keeping control of cutting garden - including producing flowers for the house - the gardener must enjoy putting together floral displays

  • Glass/Greenhouse growing management

  • Ensuring the garden is presentable and tidy at all times

  • Reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring any jobs are completed

    • This role will be Monday to Friday, 7.30am-3.30pm or 8am - 4pm. This is a live out role. You must be a driver with your own car, and live locally or be prepared to relocate and find your own accommodation.
