About The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a coach driver for our client based on the outskirts of Ashford. This role would suit an experienced semi retired coach driver who is looking for a bit of work on the side to keep them busy with a bit of flexibility.

Coach Driver

Location: Ashford and surrounding areas (with a primary base to be discussed upon application).

Hours: Flexible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport passengers to and from various destinations, adhering to scheduled routes and times.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the coach is in excellent condition and report any issues or maintenance needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting passengers warmly.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times.
  • Comply with all traffic regulations and company policies regarding safety and driving.
  • Handle payments and ticketing when required.
  • Stay informed about road conditions and adjust routes if necessary to ensure the safety and timely arrival of passengers.

    • Requirements:

  • Valid Cat D licence
  • A clean driving licence (Max 6 points)
  • Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with GPS devices.
  • Proven experience as a bus or coach driver
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
