Opportunity to work for a well-established reputable company who value and appreciate the importance of their Class 1, ADR Tanker Drivers. This is an ongoing temporary position.

Your role as a HGV, Class 1 Bulk Tanker driver will be the loading and delivery of bulk liquid gas tanks to numerous clients around the North East.

The hours of work are Monday - Friday paid at £21.14 per hour, night rate per hour is £26.02. Weekend work occasionally available with an allowance per day of £115.02. All breaks are paid.

All drivers need to be fully flexible to carry out any of the following tasks as part of their normal duties:

  • Fill and analyse own tankers and high pressure trailers
  • Replacing cryogenic hose seals
  • Couple and uncouple motive units/towing vehicles from tankers/trailers
  • Refuel the vehicles

    • You must have:
  • A high level of personal Integrity
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work to deadlines/be task orientated
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers
  • Ability to adapt to change High level of Safety Awareness

    • You will:
  • Have a minimum of two years tanker experience
  • You will hold a valid Class 1 driving licence with no more than six points
  • You will hold a digital tachograph card
  • Full CPC
  • Level 6 ADR is essential
