Job Type: Permanent - Full Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00

Salary: £25-29k D.O.E

The Client:
Our client is a well-established leader in the supply of specialist building materials. With significant annual turnover and multiple locations across the UK and Ireland, they have a strong reputation for working on both high-value, complex projects and smaller, bespoke residences.

Job Purpose:
As a FLT/Warehouse Operative, you will support your colleagues in fabricating products in line with the required specifications as well as operating a Counterbalance FLT to move stock

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security of the work environment and products
- Liaise with internal colleagues regarding customer orders and deliveries
- Support colleagues in the warehouse to ensure products are produced to excellent standards
- Receive and store goods in the warehouse safely
- Operate a laser-guided saw to produce customer orders
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management

Person Specification:
Essential:
- Forklift truck certificate/Counterbalance (the company will refresh if expired)
- Understanding of and commitment to providing the highest standard of customer service
- Positive team player with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Attention to detail
- Operational experience using a laser-guided saw
- Previous warehouse experience

Desirable:
- Experience in a construction environment
