Salary: £28,000 - £29,000

What will my role look like?

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Trades person who will be skilled in plumbing, carpentry, tiling and painting to join our highly skilled and well-established Cooplands Maintenance team! This is a field based role and you will work independently or as part of a small providing maintenance & repairs support across 62 retail sites in Hull, Lincolnshire and Leeds. 

This opportunity is ideal for a self-motivated and customer focused individual who has experience in plumbing and associated trades such as painting, tiling, decorating ect. You will thrive to keep jobs on track as efficiently as possible whilst completing work to high standards.

This is a full-time position Monday-Friday. Due to the nature of the role we require a candidate who can accommodate being on call on occasional weekends and able to react to any urgent issues that may arise.

Role Duties:

  • Perform plumbing & general maintenance repairs
  • Diagnose & rectify issues
  • Provide excellent customer service support
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out to a high standard and in line with safety regulations
  • Use your initiative and make decisions using your experience & knowledge
  • Ensure compliance at all times with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work
  • Manage your own time & schedule striving
  • Organise & priorities tasks and track progress through to completion
  • Plan your work routes strategically to save travel time & costs

    Candidate Requirements:

  • Plumbing & multi-trade experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, telephone skills and interpersonal skills
  • Good planning & organisational skills
  • Able to respond to urgent issues when required
  • Flexible with working hours, weekend call outs may be occasionally needed
  • Full UK driver’s license
