HGV Class 2 Driver on Temp to Perm

Driver Hire Reading are currently looking to recruit an experienced driver with Category C entitlement, to work with our client based in Reading. Our client is a specialist provider of outdoor furniture and structures.

Our client is searching for a driver who will strive to be part of a growing team, and contribute to all tasks related to the loading/unloading and assembling of furniture/structure at client sites. As such, driving is a key part of the role but not the only part.

There will be a temp to perm position available for the right candidate.

The PAYE (including holiday pay) rates for this position whilst working through our Agency are as follows:

  • £17.50 per hour basic
  • £19.00 per hour OT

    • There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.

    Overtime is paid after 8 hours worked. These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.

    Suitable candidates will have the following:

  • A full and valid UK driving licence, with CAT C entitlement.
  • No more than 6 points (minor offences only).
  • Current and valid CPC and Digi-Tacho cards.
  • Previous commercial driving experience.
  • Attainable references in a driving capacity.
  • Appropriate PPE (Safety shoes & Hi-viz).
