The Best Connection are currently Seeking a Goods In Operative / General handy person to work for our highly prestigious client in the Orpington area.

This is a Temp to Perm Position

Monday to Friday

40 Hours per week 8:00am-4:30pm

£13.00 Per hour

Duties will include

  • Booking in / checking goods in using our MRP system - (Full training will be given)
  • Organising materials and parts in the goods inwards department.
  • Operating automatic saw and general stores machinery to prepare materials for work (Full training will be given)
  • Helping with packing and dispatch when needed.
  • Changing workshop metal bins and keeping goods in area clean, tidy and well organised.
  • Forklift experience advantageous.

    • Personal Requirements:

  • Enjoy practical work.
  • Have good eyesight & good level of physical fitness.
  • Good memory and organisational skills.
  • Able to cope with the physical demands of the job.
  • Safety-conscious.
  • Have pride in the workplace.
  • A simple understanding of computers (full training on bespoke packages will be given).
  • Have a good attitude towards work and must be able to work on own initiative and also be part of a team.
