Work with a reputable agricultural business, is seeking a skilled and reliable Counter-Balance FLT Operative to join our team. As a key player in our logistics and distribution operations, you will be responsible for handling live loads of up to 1-ton bags of master seeds and ensuring their safe transport.
Key Responsibilities:
•Safely operate a counter-balance forklift truck to load, unload, and transport bags of master seeds within our warehouse and distribution centre.
•Efficiently move products from storage areas to loading docks and delivery vehicles.
•Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
•Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling heavy loads and operating the forklift.
•Assist with general warehouse duties, including handballing and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
•Work extended shifts, including 12-hour days from Monday to Friday, and 6 hours on Saturdays during peak periods.
