Summary

Working in all areas of the depot in Newport, the role of a  Warehouse Operative  is a busy supporting role, providing support to our logistics, transport, customer service and engineering teams. This can include deliveries and collections, assisting with vehicle loading/unloading as well as stock control. We work proudly with a team culture, so adaptability and communication is key. Most importantly, ensuring a safe environment for your colleagues and customers is a major factor in this role. If you are keen to progress your career, the  Warehouse Operative  role allows you to experience all areas of our operations first-hand, giving you a solid base for you to build your experience and progress into a specialist area of your choice!

Driving licence

FLT experience is Desirable

I.T skills required as tech platforms used to move and load equipment (Training will be provided),

Strong communication skills both verbally & written

Able to adapt quickly to support others

Commitment to learn and develop

Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

be willing to take a fork lift course

Good Housekeeping skills

Ability to work on own initiative and be able to work within a small team
