Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Salary: £10.90 per hour ( £30 weekly criteria-based shift attendance bonus)

Location: Denby, Ripley

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (40.25 hours per week)

Hours: 06:00 – 18:00 or 18:00 to 06:00, 4 on, 4 off (day or night shift pattern)

Lockwood Haulage Ltd is a forward thinking family-run business established in 1965, which currently has over 280 employees across 4 UK sites. Our services include UK haulage and storage, co-packing solutions and frozen food production.

Role responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative

The duties of this warehouse position includes but not limited to:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Booking in stock
  • Putting stock into relevant location
  • Picking and packing stock
  • Use of handheld scanners
  • Use of warehouse systems
  • Other general warehouse duties

    • Requirements for the Warehouse Operative

  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) license is desirable, training is available
  • Fork Lift Truck counterbalance license is desirable, training is available
  • VNA (Very Narrow Aisle Truck) license is desirable, training is available
  • A can-do attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Able to work well within a team, as well as independently
