Copart are recruiting HGV Drivers to join our supportive network of professional drivers at our Newbury Operation Centre, at RG19 6HN.

You'll be working from Monday to Friday, with no nights out or bank holiday working, so you'll benefit from a great work-life balance and have more time to yourself.

We have a fleet of 15 brand new Euro 6 DAF transporters that are fitted with the latest telematics, 360-degree cameras and AI technology and are looking for HGV Drivers to join us and be part of our growth.

A Copart Driver loads, collects and delivers predominantly accident damaged vehicles of all shapes, sizes and conditions on our salvage transporters and therefore the role can be physically demanding. We work on behalf of our insurance and automotive customers, to service agreements. They carry out internal and external checks on their trucks and equipment and report any defects, photograph any damage and carry out inspections of all collected and delivered vehicles. Copart Drivers must comply with legal and company requirements of a professional driver and operate the vehicle and loading equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all H&S policies and procedures.

No transporter experience? No problem - we'll provide you with everything you need! You'll be supported through 3 weeks of the very best job related 1-2-1 training and benefit from our bespoke designed annual CPC training. If you have a Cat C licence, we are able to upskill to C+E after successful completion of your probationary period.

What we need from you:

• It's essential that you have an HGV/LGV Licence, Class 1 or Class 2
• A good understanding of the EU drivers' hours and working time rules using a tachograph
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in basic IT skills and the use of a hand held device
• Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage
