PAY RATE: £12.21 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Driving delivery vans safely and efficiently
• 15 minute vehicle check
• Sometimes working with a driver's mate
• Communicating with the Transport Manager daily
• Communicating with customers in a kind and friendly manner
• Occasionally completing a night out
• Delivering anything from building supplies to furniture
• Using navigation tools, such as a satnav, to complete drops

Essential Skills

As a 3.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

•  Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
•  Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category B vehicles
•  No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
•  Must have good knowledge of UK road network
•  Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
•  Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
•  Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
•  Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

•  Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial 
•  Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
